A lot of brands make one simple assumption on mobile: People will swipe through the product images. But not everyone does. Especially depending on your audience, some users are far more comfortable just tapping an arrow than swiping through a carousel. That’s why one of the simplest PDP tests I like is adding visible left/right arrows directly onto the product image gallery AND product images (combo usually performs better). It does 3 things: → Makes it obvious there are more images → Removes the need to understand the swipe interaction → Makes browsing the gallery feel much more deliber
