bottom line from one of my SEO consultation calls: 1/ create relevant content - keyword research can be very important way before you write the articles 2/ build backlinks, but you dont need to go crazy, i would spend more in creating quality pages, and creating value for your customers, but yea you should create some valuable backlinks truth is that many niches are quite competitive, and you need at least 2-5 good backlinks a month 3/ google search console is a gold mine, keep checking that thing weekly and adjust your top 10 pages 4/ make sure you dont forget internal linking thats all
