Update on my LinkedIn SEO experiment: I published an article targeting "SEO in 2026" and within 24 hours it was #3 on Google. ~2 weeks later, it's now #7. Here's exactly what happens if you do this: LinkedIn articles get a HUGE head start in Google. They're published on an established, heavily crawled domain and for freshness-sensitive searches like "SEO in 2026", new content can get pushed up very quickly. But that initial ranking isn't necessarily where it'll stay. With new content Google initially estimates where a page should rank, then rankings can fluctuate heavily for 1-2+ weeks
