I made my first $1 writing online in 2014. I wrote a viral answer on a little-known website at the time called Quora about my bodybuilding transformation, and how I had gone from weighing less than 100 pounds as a senior in high school to putting on 70 pounds of muscle and becoming a shredded bodybuilder by age 24. And at the top of the short story I wrote, I put a Before & After image — showing the transformation: That Quora answer ended up on the front page of Reddit, and accumulated over a million views in just a few days. And that's how I made my first $5,000 online.
